Shortly after French violinist Jean-Samuel Bez and I met at the Orford Music Summer Festival in 2016, we formed our duo J². Less than a year after we started collaborating, we won the First Absolute Prize in the Luigi Zanuccolli International Competition (Italy). Since then, we have regularly been touring across Europe and North America. Click HERE to find out more about our collaboration.

In the midst of the global Covid-19 Pandemic, this album was a first real occasion for me to get back to work and to do a project that I had been wanting to accomplish for a very long time - record my debut album. After 3 days of recordings in Drummondville (Québec) and multiple challenges due to the sanitary restrictions, this album came together and was released online in October 2021 on the Label Orpheus Classical. FRANZ LISZT - LES PRÉLUDES
Writing my own solo piano transcription

This project started after I was selected to tour across Eastern Canada with Jeunesses Musicales Canada in 2016. My program included around 40 preludes for piano, which gave me the idea of writing this piano solo transcription of Franz Liszt's Symphonic Poem No. 3 (also called Les Préludes). You can click HERE for listening to my recording of it on YouTube. You can also click HERE to contact me for more information should you be interested to purchase a digital or a physical copy of it.

Francis-Poulenc.jpg

With the support of The Rebanks Family Fellowship and International Performance Residency Program at the Glenn Gould School (affiliated with the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto), I worked on putting together a collection of pieces by one of my favorite French composers - Francis Poulenc. After 2 days of intensive recordings in September 2022, this collaborative album has now come together. To watch the full video album on YouTube, click HERE.
